5 April

MENA/SWANA Celebration Performance Series 7.00 - 9.00pm, Embassy Theatre

An evening showcasing the work of MENA/SWANA alumni and students from Central featuring short works, poetry, music and excerpts of plays celebrating their work as creative professionals. Following the performances will be a Q&A with all artists involved including workshop leaders giving the audience a chance to get to know these incredible artists featured in this two day celebration.

Featuring performers: Youness Bouzinab, Fatima Serghini, Mai Weisz, Alia Lahlou, Mohab Kaddah, Laila Alj and Lanna Joffrey. With a Q&A including the performers and Sepy Baghaei, Farokh Soltani, Adi Gortler and Amirah Samer.

6 April

Movement Workshop with Adi Gortler 11.00am-1.00pm (Studio D, North Block)

Presentation and Talkback with Mohab Kaddah 11.00am - 1.00pm (New Studio)

Sound Installation by Farokh Soltani 12.00pm - 4.00pm, with Artist Talk at 1.00pm (Recording Studio)

Short Film Installation by Amirah Samer 12.00pm - 4.00p, with Artist Talk at 1.30pm (Location to be confirmed)

Intro to Spoken Word with Lanna Joffrey 1.00pm to 4pm (Studio C)

How to Build a Career as a Theatre Director with Sepy Baghaei 2.00pm - 4.00pm (Studio D, North Block)

“TILKA” Documentary Screening by Lama Amine 2.00 - 3.30pm, with Q&A post-screening with creative team member, Naqiya Ebrahim and virtually with Lama Amine (New Studio)
