I grew up in tough situations. I try to bring somewhat of a change through my art by telling stories. I am currently doing my PhD on breaking stereotypes of Muslim women through visual arts.

biography:
Ala Buisir is a visual artist/journalist currently residing between the UK and Ireland with roots in Libya. Her work documents the social and political tension around us today. The aim is to raise awareness by presenting events through different perspectives in hopes that it may also bring about change.
