biography:
In recent years I have made new work with the National Theatre of Scotland and previously toured new writing to national venues including the Traverse, Tron, Northern Stage, Leeds Playhouse and Ovalhouse. My governance experience includes for: the New York-Based International Society for the Performing Arts ISPA, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Artistic Directors of the Future, Birds of Paradise and Company of Others.
I founded and led ZENDEH and ZENDEH Productions from 2004 - 2018. ZENDEH Productions was a leading Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation touring new work and new writing with a passion for personal and political in the UK-Iran Relationship. I founded the north area consortium Creative Case NORTH in partnership with Arts Council England.
