Amira is a Scottish Palestinian singer, actor, pianist and writer. She grew up in Scotland, frequently visiting her displaced Palestinian family in Jordan where she learned to speak and read Arabic. Amira currently lives in Scotland and has a driver’s license and own car. Due to the financial demands of training, Amira pursued her own route to the industry, working hard in the private lessons she could afford prior to being spotted by her soon-to-be-agent at a cabaret.
Amira is a confident singer, belt up to D#6 and soprano ranging from E4 to E7. Amira also plays piano, and can sightread and sight-sing, with the ability to hold close harmonies. Amira is a strong actor and good mover, with basic jazz and ballet training.
Amira has recently appeared in the concept album for the new musical Rumi.
